Homes Under £100k For First-Time Buyers In Boston
Located in the village of Wyberton, Boston, phase three of Heron Park features a selection of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. This selection will be solely available to buyers looking to get a foot on the property ladder, under the government’s First Homes scheme.
The launch also marks the sale debut for Chestnut Homes’ one-bedroom homes available to purchase from £94,500. The maximum price within this development will be £154,000 for a three-bedroom home.
Chestnut Homes sales manager, Helene Key, says: “It’s no secret that the cost of living is taking its toll, but for those looking to take their first steps onto the property ladder, this is a particularly challenging time. That’s why we’re pleased to be bringing first-time buyers in the Boston area this fantastic opportunity to secure a house of their own for less, in a brilliant new neighbourhood.”
“Wyberton is an idyllic historic village located just minutes away from Boston and close to a range of amenities, making it the perfect location for buyers to set down roots. All the homes at Heron Park have been designed to reflect the stunning semi-rural surroundings and include a palette of materials that are traditionally found in and around the local area.”

The First Homes scheme allows developers to offer homes 30% lower than market value. Buyers will pay a maximum of 70% while the scheme covers the remainder. However, buyers still retain 100% ownership.
Those looking to use the scheme, must satisfy a range of criteria, including a maximum household income of no more than £80,000. They also need to have not owned a home anywhere previously and have a deposit of at least 5%. The local council may also set some eligibility conditions.
Interest has already been high for Heron Park which features eight one-bedroom homes, eleven two-bedroom homes and two three-bedroom homes.
Helene adds: “Heron Park is proving very popular, and there is already a waiting list. We’d urge any first-time buyers who might have their sights set on a home in the Boston area to register their interest early to avoid disappointment.”
