New Collection Of Apartments Launches In Notting Hill

Posted 6 December 2022 by Keith Osborne

Catalyst has unveiled 48 one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments at The Auria, a landmark regeneration scheme in Notting Hill...

Catalyst, part of Peabody has launched The Portobello Edition at The Auria, an exciting collection of 48 new homes on the iconic Portobello Road in Notting Hill.

Inspired by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s famed garden squares and grand architecture, the luxurious new apartments are set in distinctive mansion blocks, contrasted with low-rise contemporary mews houses, which reprise some of Notting Hill’s most picturesque street scenes. Inside, they can be personalised from one of four colour palettes with flexible open-plan living spaces and individual private outdoor spaces. Residents will also benefit from a 12-hour concierge and parking which is available at an extra cost.

Green living features prominently at The Auria with a strong and impressive sustainability ethos at its heart. All homes boast water and energy-saving features, and methods to reduce waste and pollution are engaged across the wider development.

Lisa Crush, director of sales and marketing at Peabody, commented: “The launch of our latest collection of apartments at The Auria marks a major milestone at Portobello Square. We have been delighted with the sales success to date, both domestically and internationally, demonstrating the appeal of both area and the quality of the product. The combination of the iconic location, stylish properties and proximity to central London means that there is something for everyone. No doubt the aspects and views afforded by this latest release will draw a similar level of interest.”

The AuriaEmma Fletcher-Brewer, head of City & East New Homes at Knight Frank, commented: “We anticipate a high level of demand for these new homes sitting directly on Portobello Road with convenience and easy local and international travel connections literally on their doorsteps.’’

Daniel Martin, associate director, Residential Development Consultancy at Savills, said: “Despite its visitor numbers, Notting Hill manages to retain a sense of community and village spirit. With one of the highest concentrations of garden squares in the capital, it's an ideal enclave of London for families to settle down in, with micro-communities often formed among residents. The quality of schools in the area is another big draw for families, many of whom relocate here to be within walking distance of the school gates.’’

As well as Portobello Road, residents will be minutes away from Golborne Road, with its treasure trove of antique shops, restaurants and cafes. Into Notting Hill, they can explore the vast array of shops, bars and market stalls that characterise the neighbourhood along with popular local haunts such as the Electric Cinema. Nature lovers can also walk to Paddington Canal in around 10 minutes, where a canal path leads strollers down to Little Venice also.

Both Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park Tube stations are about a 10-minute walk away, connecting residents to the Hammersmith and Circle Underground lines, with a journey time of just five minutes to Paddington railway station

Prices start from £675,000 for the Portobello Edition at The Auria. Find out more at www.theauria.london.
