Catalyst has a special offer for those reserving a home at the launch of the show house at Midsummer Vale in Walkern...

On Saturday 29 January, Catalyst is launching a brand new show home at Midsummer Vale in the historic village of Walkern, Hertfordshire, welcoming potential buyers to view the development in person and speak to its expert sales team.

Designed by Etch Interiors, the new four-bedroom show home demonstrates how much can be achieved in these expansive homes. A must for the modern-day family, the home features a designated study, providing the ultimate work from home space, showcasing a unique triple desk area to suit multiple members of the family. Further catering to kids, the children’s bedroom has been converted into a jungle paradise, with wood panelled headboards climbing up the ceiling and adorned with creepy crawlies.

Guests who visit the show home on Saturday 29 January will be able to benefit from an exclusive incentive, with Catalyst offering a six-month mortgage holiday to all purchasers who reserve by 31 March (terms and conditions apply).

Midsummer Vale is a collection of three- and four-bedroom homes. Providing a mix of house styles to suit a range of buyers, the family homes range from two-storey, three-bedroom properties with open-plan kitchen/dining areas and separate living rooms, to detached four-bedroom homes complete with two en suites, a utility room, and the designated study. Spacious interiors feature premium touches including designer kitchen units, chrome finishing and underfloor heating. Outside, landscaped front gardens and a dedicated patio area to the rear garden are included as standard.

Midsummer ValeSteve Pickering, head of sales and marketing (Counties) at Catalyst, commented: “We are delighted to launch our new show home at Midsummer Vale, giving potential buyers a feel for what everyday life could be like at the development. Etch Interiors have designed a show home which carefully balances sophistication and playfulness, creating a home for the whole family to enjoy. We can’t wait to show new families around!”

The village of Walkern dates back to the Saxon period and is characterised by its rich history. Combining historic buildings, which include the 11th-century St Mary’s Church and medieval Bridgefoot Farm, with modern amenities such as the Walkern Sports and Community Centre, beauty salon, and a range of beloved pubs and restaurants, Walkern offers the desirable lifestyle often associated with village living.

The local area offers school options for a range of ages – Walkern Primary school is just a five-minute walk from the development, while for older children, secondary schools The Nobel School and Marriotts School are both less than a 10-minute drive away.

For commuting needs, Stevenage train station is a 10-minute drive away – with train journeys to London Kings Cross taking 24 minutes and London Bridge taking 42 minutes. For travelling by car, the nearby A602 and A10 connect to the M1.

The final three-bedroom home at Midsummer Vale is priced at £490,000. Remaining four-bedroom homes start from £540,000. Find out more at catalyst.homes.
