Buyer Open Day Event In Alrewas This Saturday
Posted 17 February 2022 by
Keith OsborneHousing association Bromford is hosting an open day event on Saturday 19 February in Alrewas, where they are inviting property seekers to view and fall in love with a new Shared Ownership home at its Green Acres and Woodlands developments.
The event will take place at Green Acres between 11.00am and 4.00pm and attendees can learn more about what Green Acres and Woodlands have to offer and ask members of the Bromford team about its Shared Ownership scheme. Interested buyers can benefit from £500 towards legal costs if they reserve in February.
Across Green Acres, off Dark Lane, and Woodlands, on Anson Road, Bromford has a range of two- and three-bedroom Shared Ownership properties available. Shared Ownership gives those who do not currently own a property the chance to secure a new build with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required.
During the event, attendees will be able to view available properties, including ‘The Hawthorn’ at Green Acres, which is priced from £100,000 with a 40% share value (based on a full market value of £250,000). This two-bedroom home is a perfect choice for young professionals and first-time buyers, and opens onto a wraparound kitchen with a built-in oven hob and extractor fan. The living and dining area is roomy and open plan, with French doors leading to the spacious garden meaning there is more than enough room for entertaining year-round. Upstairs are two large double bedrooms and a modern stylish family bathroom.
Catherine Jarrett, director of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “We are very excited to be hosting our event, and hope to see and get to know lots of people from the local community. We at Bromford are very passionate about ensuring that people live in a home that they love and we hope this event can help further that goal.”
Located in the heart of the picturesque Staffordshire countryside, Alrewas is a beautiful historic village teeming with undisturbed wildlife, historic attractions, and lovely nature sights.
These Shared Ownership homes have been specifically built to meet the needs of local people, and priority will be given to applicants who have a connection to Lichfield District Council. The local area connection is based on having been a resident or employed within the Lichfield area for a number of years, or having family connections who have lived in the area for at least three years.
