The 'Sparrowhawk' offers single-storey living available under Shared Ownership at Bromford's Fletchers Rise...

Housing association Bromford is encouraging downsizers in Staffordshire to enquire about the final two-bedroom bungalow available at its Fletchers Rise development in Wombourne, where they can benefit from £500 towards legal fees.

Located off Beggars Bush Lane, Fletchers Rise is a collection of two- and three-bedroom Shared Ownership homes in a beautiful rural setting, within easy reach of the village of Wombourne.

Shared Ownership gives those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required. Purchasers can increase their share during their time in the property.

Bromford will contribute £500 towards legal fees on selected properties when property seekers reserve on or before 31 August 2021.

Interested property seekers looking to downsize to a more manageable home are being urged to consider the two-bedroom ‘Sparrowhawk’ bungalow. Only one plot is currently available, priced at £250,000 with a 40% share value (terms and conditions apply).

This modern home benefits from an open-plan living/dining area and a separate kitchen fully-fitted with an oven, hob and extractor hood. Two spacious bedrooms sit on the opposite side of the property, with one of the bedrooms allowing for easy conversion into an office, perfect for professionals working from home. It is completed with a family bathroom, additional storage cupboard, allocated parking and a turfed rear garden, offering residents plenty of space.

Karen Adams, sales manager at Bromford, said: “The ‘Sparrowhawk’ bungalow is a wonderful home. Its more than ideal for downsizers and those who require a single storey property, with a modern and flexible layout allowing residents to easily alter the space and create a home that’s perfectly suited to them.

“Fletchers Rise is situated within a highly sought-after area and offers stunning views of green open space, alongside a great choice of local amenities. Wombourne is within walking distance, providing residents with the very best village lifestyle.

“I’d encourage any interested customers to get in touch with our sales team without delay, as I don’t anticipate that this final ‘Sparrowhawk’ bungalow will remain available for long.”

Wombourne is home to a wide range of amenities, including several food stores, a farm shop, numerous pubs and schools for all ages. Resorts World in Birmingham and the Wulfrun Shopping Centre are also nearby, offering residents plenty of day trips.

The village is also home to Wom Brook Walk, a one-and-a-half mile walk through a nature reserve. To the east of the village is the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal, which is ideal for cycling, jogging, walking and fishing.

Fletchers Rise is ideally located just off the A449, with Wolverhampton and Stourbridge both just 20-minutes away. The M54 and M5 are also only a 30-minutes’ drive away. Find out more about current Bromford developments.
