Provider Expands Area To Qualify For Brockworth Shared Ownership Homes

Keith OsborneNew homes provider Bromford is encouraging Gloucestershire property seekers to enquire about its Shared Ownership apartments at the popular Perrybrook development in Brockworth, following the expansion of the local area connection.
Perrybrook, located on Court Road, is a collection of two-bedroom Shared Ownership apartments built by HBF five-star builders Taylor Wimpey. The expansion means that the homes are now available to anyone who lives or works in the Gloucestershire area or has a GL postcode.
Shared Ownership gives first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required.
Bromford has also extended their offer at the development. Anyone who reserves a home before Sunday 19 February will receive £750 to go towards their choice of either white goods, legal fees, flooring or a Ring Security Package (terms and conditions apply). One of the featured Shared Ownership homes available to property seekers is ‘The Goshawk’, a two-bedroom apartment priced at £82,000 with a 40% share value. This cosy coach house apartment is ideal for anyone looking for an apartment with privacy. The modern apartment is accessed via a private front door and there are no upstairs or downstairs neighbours. There is just one plot of this apartment style remaining, which will be move-in-ready for the summer.
There is also the ‘The Harrier’, which is priced at £80,000 with 40% share value. This two-bedroom apartment is equipped with a modern design and plenty of space to fill as desired. The generous hallway offers practical storage and leads through to a light and flexible open-plan living space, with a wraparound kitchen which is perfect for entertaining guests. There's a generous main bedroom which features a Juliet balcony and a second bedroom which could be used as a highly efficient home office, thanks to the ultra-fast fibreoptic broadband that serves Perrybrook.
Catherine Jarrett, director of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “We are very excited that the local area connection has expanded and that even more people will have the opportunity to live in one of the wonderful homes at this high-quality development. We expect to get a lot of interest going forward, so we would encourage anyone who is looking for a property in the area to get in touch with our friendly sales team right away to secure their perfect home.”
Brockworth is an excellent location for potential homebuyers that has all the benefits of village life without missing out on convenient local amenities. This historic village is the home of the famous annual cheese rolling competition that takes place every spring bank holiday at Cooper’s Hill. There are also plenty of charming traditional pubs and exciting activities, such as the Gloucester Ski & Snowboard centre. For shopping, Gloucester city centre is just 15 minutes away by car and is home to Gloucester Quays outlet village. For families there are a range of high-quality primary and secondary schools, and for commuters there are easy transport links to Bristol, Birmingham and the West Midlands.
