The eagerly awaited Wilton Park development in Beaconsfield has two show homes now open for viewings...

The Mayor of Beaconsfield, Councillor Alistair Pike, officially launched the long-awaited Wilton Park development and took a guided tour of the two new Bewley Homes show houses.

House-hunters looking to make Wilton Park their new home now have the first opportunity to see the style and quality being built by Bewley Homes, a winner in the Best Medium Housebuilder category of the prestigious WhatHouse? Awards for the last two years.

Demand for the new homes on the outskirts of the old town has been very high. Andrew Brooks, managing director of Bewley Homes, said: “We are delighted to be finally open for buyers to view at Wilton Park. The response and feedback are very encouraging on the opening weekend. It’s great for Bewley to be back building in Beaconsfield again.”

Visitors to the development will be able to view the two three-bedroom show homes, each showcasing very individual and contrasting décor, demonstrating just how a buyer of a new home can take this blank canvas and truly create their own unique interior style, with their choices and furnishing.

Wilton ParkThe first buyers at Wilton Park have commented on just how different the two homes are and how inspiring it is to have the chance to make memories which start in the home from the moment you move in.

Elaine Stratford, sales and marketing director at Bewley Homes, said: “It has been wonderful to meet our first purchasers at Wilton Park over the opening weekend. This is a fantastic location and the homes themselves provide such a wide choice of accommodation, within some amazing street scenes. Our customers were very complimentary on the show homes and with the Bewley team.”

The first phase at Wilton Park comprises two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes and apartments, totalling 95 in all. Sue Fisher, head of residential development at selling agents Hamptons, located in Beaconsfield, described the homes as offering meticulous attention to detail and in a beautiful setting: “This is one of the most exciting new residential developments in the area for many years. As well as offering buyers quality new character homes, it boasts a prime location close to fantastic amenities, including restaurants, cafés and shops.”

Each home at Wilton Park will have underfloor heating on the ground floor, bifold doors leading to gardens, a premium kitchen with a choice of shaker or slab style contemporary finishes, recessed lighting and Smeg appliances. Electric vehicle charging points will be installed on a select number of the houses.

The first three phases at the 100-acre site at Wilton Park, accounting for 184 new homes, will be delivered by Bewley Homes, having purchased the plot from Inland Homes (another multiple winner at the WhatHouse? Awards) in 2020. In total, 304 new homes will be built on this exclusive development including 79 affordable homes. Forty-six homes existing homes on site will be retained.

Wilton ParkWilton Park will have the distinctive air of a traditional ‘English country estate’ with existing mature trees retained, open grassland and wildflower meadows providing an attractive and tranquil parkland setting. Residents will also benefit from Beaconsfield’s excellent transport links, with trains to London Marylebone in as little as 23 minutes and easy access to junction 2 of the M40 motorway.

Stephen Wicks, chief executive of Inland Homes, said: “It is absolutely fantastic to see the first homes at Wilton Park launch. The quality of the homes delivered by Bewley Homes is exceptional, in keeping with Inland’s commitment to delivering a flagship new community at Wilton Park.”

Councillor Alastair Pike, Mayor of Beaconsfield, added: “I am very pleased to have officially opened the Wilton Park Show Homes and impressed by both the quality and the setting. The opportunity for shared ownership is a real positive and good to both hear and see the relief road nearing completion.”

Future residents will also benefit from open spaces and cycle routes as well as Beaconsfield’s excellent transport links, with train journeys to London Marylebone taking as little as 23 minutes and easy access to junction 2 of the M40 motorway.
