School Pupil Opens New Show Home At Overton Development

WhatHouse? Award-winning developer Bewley Homes has launched its highly anticipated show home at its Sovereign Gate development in Overton.

Cerys Luckhurst, a pupil from Overton CE Primary school, had the honour of officially opening the four-bedroom show home at Sovereign Gate, having won an interior design competition organised by Bewley Homes earlier in the year.

Cerys’ creativity and imagination earned her the top spot in the competition. Her vibrant and imaginative vision has now been brought to life in one of the children’s bedrooms of the new show home, serving as an inspiration for potential buyers who visit the property.

Bewley, renowned for its commitment to innovative design, held the competition to engage with the local primary school.

Cerys' design, brought to life by PJB Interiors, Bewley’s interior design company, transformed one of the children's bedrooms into a jungle theme. The room exudes a sense of imagination and possibility, capturing the essence of Cerys's youthful spirit and creative vision.

Cerys says: “I can't believe that my design is actually here in the show home! It's like a dream come true. I love colours and magic, and I wanted to create a design that feels like you're in a fairy tale jungle. I hope all the children who visit this room feel as happy as I do. I really enjoyed launching the show home. It’s the first one I have been to and it’s beautiful.”
