Councillor Opens Show Home In Send

Posted 11 December 2020 by Keith Osborne

Bewley Homes invited a local councillor to open and tour the 'Dorrington', a brand new show home in a Surrey village...

Local Councillor Paul Spooner has given Bewley Homes’ latest development a ringing endorsement after he officially opened the show home at Clockbarn Gardens in Send, Surrey.

Close to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and named after the previous nursery, Clockbarn Gardens is a collection of 75 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes in the pretty village near Guildford.

Councillor Spooner joined Bewley Homes’ managing director, Andrew Brooks, to officially launch the exciting new development and take a guided tour of the show home, a ‘Dorrington’ house type. He said: “Bewley Homes is synonymous with quality housebuilding and Clockbarn Gardens, in its great location, didn’t disappoint. What really impressed me about the show home was the feeling of space throughout the property.

“Quality shines throughout show home and all the bedrooms are a good size. The landscaping in the large garden is impressive and adds to the feeling of a really wonderful family home.”

Brooks commented: "I was delighted by Councillor Spooner’s feedback on our show home. Anyone wishing to visit us and take a closer look at our new ‘Donnington’ show home should register soon to be among the first to view and secure their chance to buy one of these beautiful properties.”

Katy Boutureira, design director at PJB Interiors & Design, who oversaw installation of the new show home’s interior, said: “We are thrilled to have been involved in this fabulous new Bewley show home. The large open-plan kitchen allows us to really showcase the modern way families now love to live. We have chosen to decorate in neutral tones with an accent of vibrant blue to create a contemporary and glamorous feel.”

Demand for homes at Clockbarn Gardens has already been high, and four buyers reserved over the launch weekend.

Set in rural countryside but close to the village high street, the development offers peace and quiet within easy reach of some excellent local amenities and good schools.

Just over half-an-hour from London Waterloo by train from nearby Woking railway station, Clockbarn Gardens is the perfect base for retirees, families and commuters alike.

Two-, three- and four-bedroom homes are now available with prices starting from £410,000 to £825,000.
