Final Phase Of Greenwich Apartments To Launch In 2021

The final phase of apartments at a riverside housing development in Greenwich is set to be released for sale in the new year.

Bellway London is building 278 new homes within five apartment blocks at The River Gardens, off Banning Street. This landmark development includes a private gym, swimming pool and concierge service, with landscaped garden squares on the banks of the River Thames.

The Maritime building and a further apartment block on the other side of Banning Street will be the final buildings to be constructed on the site. This final phase will comprise 98 new one-, two- and three-bedroom homes – 84 apartments for private sale and 14 affordable homes for Shared Ownership or rent. The apartments will feature modern interiors, and many will enjoy river views from private balconies.

With construction work on site progressing well, Bellway is planning to launch this final collection of apartments in early 2021, with the first of these homes scheduled to be ready to move into later in the year. Construction work on the development is due to be completed in early 2022.

Emma Hamlett, sales director for Bellway London, said: “We are now coming towards the last stage of development at The River Gardens, our flagship site in Royal Greenwich, with the first homes in these final buildings set to be released for sale early next year.
