New Homes In Ewell To Launch This Weekend

The first homes at a sought-after new housing development in Ewell, Surrey are to be released for sale on Saturday 28 November, when Bellway will be announcing prices for the initial selection of properties at Buckthorn Grange at an appointment-only launch.

A total of 161 homes are being built on the site off Scotts Farm Road, which was purchased from Epsom and Ewell High School. The proceeds from the sale of the former playing fields have been used to upgrade facilities elsewhere on the school campus.

The first homes to be released at Buckthorn Grange will be a mix of two- and three-bedroom houses, with apartments to follow in a later phase.

Daniel Williamson, sales director of Bellway South London, said: “Buckthorn Grange is providing a new lease of life for this disused site by delivering high-quality new homes for Ewell, while also enabling the school to fund new teaching and sporting facilities on its existing campus. The site is very well known locally, and the development is already attracting a lot of interest. There is currently a shortage of new build housing available in Ewell, so we anticipate demand for the homes at Buckthorn Grange will be extremely high.

“We are expecting the first release of homes to be snapped up quickly, so I would encourage buyers to register their interest and book an appointment to visit the site when it opens to make sure they have the pick of the plots.”

Construction work at Buckthorn Grange began in March and is expected to be completed by Spring 2023. A show home is due to open at the development early next year.
