Events To Take Place At Development In Rolleston-on-Dove

Posted 9 September 2020 by Keith Osborne

Events are set to take place at a new housing development in Rolleston-on-Dove opening its doors this month...

Later in September, Bellway will host two events at its collection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes being built on a 14.7-acre site in the Staffordshire village of Rolleston-on-Dove.

There will be 93 new homes built in total at the Rolleston Manor development, launching this weekend, as well as public open space and access to the A38. 28 of the new properties will be bungalows, while seven homes will be allocated as affordable housing. Bellway will also provide funding to deliver a further eight affordable homes off-site.

With hundreds of house-hunters having already registered an interest in the homes, the housebuilder has decided to release the first few homes for sale at the nearby Dove Manor development, off Derby Road in Doveridge.

Prospective buyers can visit the sales centre during the weekends of 12 September and 19 September to find out more about the homes on offer. Walk-ins will be welcome across the four days, however, anyone wishing to visit after this date will need to book an appointment with the sales team.

Marie Richards, sales director for Bellway West Midlands, said: “Our Rolleston Manor development promises to be a great addition to the local area, so we are really looking forward to releasing the first homes for sale in the next few weeks.

“The team has invested a lot of time in the planning and design of this development to ensure we are not only delivering a range of homes to suit all types of buyers, but that the properties also fit in with the picturesque village of Rolleston-on-Dove.

“Those who choose to buy a new home with us at Rolleston Manor will appreciate the development’s location, as they will find a well-regarded pre-school, primary school and a handful of shops on the doorstep. Residents will also benefit from easy access to Burton – which is just three miles away – and Derby, which can be reached in 25 minutes by car.

“We have already received a great deal of interest in the homes here, so I would encourage anyone interested to visit the sales office at Dove Manor to find out more.”

As part of the planning agreement for the development, Bellway will also contribute more than £650,000 to local services and infrastructure, including £535,000 to local schools, £60,000 towards landscaping and public open space and £50,000 for community facilities.
