Move Home In 2022 With North East Housebuilder

Keen house-hunters in the North East of England will be delighted to know that Barratt Developments – WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year 2019 – has a number of brand new properties at its developments across the region where they could be comfortably at home in time for the festive season.

Available under the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brand, here are a few of those that could be ideal for home-seekers who can start the buying process right now.

Bedewell Court is in Hebburn and it has a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for sale right now, with prices starting at £114,995, thanks to the Home Reach part buy-part rent scheme. However, the properties available to move into by Christmas are all for sale at full market price. The ‘Moresby’ is an end-of-terrace three-bedroom house with two parking spaces, priced at £244,995 and with upgrades worth £3,500. The ‘Kenley’, a two-bedroom end-of-terrace house, recently had its priced reduced to £169,995 and Barratt will pay £5,000 towards your deposit.

Burdon Green is in Coxhoe and there are currently three- and four-bedroom houses for sale. The ‘Norbury’ vhas had a recent price reduction to £219,995 and is a three-storey home with two parking spaces and a south-west-facing garden. Home Reach is also available here on other properties, with prices starting at £100,000 for a 50% share.

‘Radleigh’‘Radleigh’ house type

Barratt Homes is building at Cherry Tree Park in Ryhope, close to an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated primary school, with three- and four-bedroom homes starting from £219,995. The semi-detached ‘Ellerton’ is ready to move into right now. Recently reduced to £219,995, it also comes with upgrades worth £8,000. Alternatively, the four-bedroom ‘Radleigh’ is also immediately available to move into . The largest property type on the development, this detached home comes with single garage and private driveway. Priced at £354,995, homeowner buyers can ask about a Part Exchange deal on this property.

David Wilson Homes is also offering homes at Cherry Tree Park and a couple of them are ready to move into right now. The ‘Cornell’ is priced at £349,995, recently reduced in price and coming with upgrades worth up to £7,000. This detached home has four bedooms and a spacious kitchen/dining/family room, with a separate dual-aspect lounge. An alternative choice of ready-to-move-into home is the ‘Bradgate’ at £369,995. This is a detached property with single garage, a kitchen upgrade and availability through Part Exchange. All four bedrooms are doubles, with en suite to one of them, and there’s a separate study downstairs in addition to a living room and an open-plan kitchen/dining/family room.

Barratt Homes at Elwick Gardens in Hartlepool has a range of home types with two, three or four bedrooms for sale, and a couple of the larger houses are ready to move into now. Both of them are the ‘Kingsley’ design: Plots 99 and 98 are priced at £284,995 and £292,995 respectively. They come with kitchen/dining room, utility room, lounge and en suite principal bedroom, with three other bedrooms sharing the bathroom. Buyers can ask about Part Exchange.

‘Starling’‘Starling’ house type

Meadow Hill is located in Throckley, within walking distance of the village’s Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' primary school. The ‘Starling’ is an ideal home for a young family who want to celebrate Christmas in a brand new home. This detached house has recently has its price reduced to £279,995 and has an integral single garage, a private driveway and three bedrooms, one of which has an en suite shower room. Other three- and four-bedroom houses will be completed in 2023, with prices starting at £224,995.

The Orchard at West Park in Darlington has a number of Barratt Homes properties for sale. A version of the three-bedroom ‘Ellerton’ starts at £209,995, ready for Christmas, while already completed and ready to move into now, from £269,995, is the detached ‘Windermere’, which has an integral single garage and four double bedrooms. Set to complete in 2023, some properties are available through Home Reach, with a 50% share starting at £104,995. David Wilson Homes is also offering homes for sale here.
