Housebuilder To Host Webinars On Homes In The South East
The Southern Counties division of Housebuilder of the Year, Barratt Developments, is hosting a number of webinars over the coming weeks to advise house-hunters about many aspects of finding a dream home.
The company, under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, is starting to reopen the sales offices and show homes at developments across the country. Lockdown has spurred a resurgence of interest in buying a new home to satisfy ambitions to relocate, have more space indoors and out, and be able to comfortably work from home.
Encouraging house-hunters across the region, Barratt Southern Counties has announced it is launching a three-part homebuying webinar series, designed to help buyers answer any questions they may have about making their next move.

- Thursday 2 July, Part Exchange webinar
The first webinar will go live on Thursday 18 June at 1.00pm. Barratt Homes aims to give free and practical advice to first-time buyers looking to find out more about taking the first step onto the housing ladder. The panel of property experts will discuss homebuying schemes such as Help to Buy and Home Reach, as well as providing useful mortgage, financial and legal advice relevant to anyone looking to understand all the processes of getting on the property ladder.

The expert panel will consist of Lynnette St-Quintin (sales and marketing director at Barratt Southern Counties), Mel Toomey (national sales director at heylo), Adrian MacDiarmid (head of mortgage lender elations at Barratt Homes), and Scott Brown (account director at finance experts Torc 24).
“As the housing market reopens, many first-time buyers may find themselves in a position whereby they are now really keen to buy their own home,” said Lynnette St-Quintin. “Our webinar series is designed to help anyone looking to find out more to ask all the questions they wish to from a distance. Once they know what they can afford and which schemes are suitable, they can then safely visit a home in line with our new safety procedures and guidance.
“With mortgage rates at an all-time low, we will be helping to advise buyers about how they can best access some of these rates – as well as explaining options for reducing upfront costs.”
