Sales Centre Opened In Fradley

Barratt has unveiled a sales centre and is inviting house-hunters to visit the team at Fradley Manor in Staffordshire...

Property seekers in Staffordshire are being given the chance to find their dream home at Barratt Homes’ new development, Fradley Manor, following the launch of its sales centre.

With sales advisers now on site and ready to assist, prospective buyers can make an appointment at the development on Hay End Lane in Lichfield to discuss the available homes in more detail. A collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes will create a new community at Fradley Manor, and this is the first chance for house hunters to reserve one of the properties. Prices currently start at £272,995.

Tanya Silk, sales director at Barratt Homes West Midlands, said: “We are very pleased that our onsite sales centre is now open for buyers to attend an appointment.

“Whilst we have a number of digital tools to assist homebuyers on their journey, there’s often nothing like sitting down with an expert and learning more about the development from the onsite sales team.

“We would like to reassure keen house hunters in the area that we’ve installed extra measures at our development to ensure the safety of visitors and employees amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.”

Homebuyer priorities have drastically changed in light of the recent experience of the extended lockdown with size of the property, budget and location all impacted. Recently, Savills property agents interviewed 700 registered buyers and sellers in April 2020 to explore their new attitudes. The desire for more space and greater emphasis on the outdoors was expressed with four in 10 now looking for a village location and 54% of respondents with school-age children, now finding the idea of a countryside location more attractive than pre-Covid-19.

The village location of Fradley Manor is renowned for its canalside community with an abundance of open space, parks, and footpaths for residents to enjoy the outdoors.

Once complete the development will provide a range of outdoor playing facilities including a park and playing pitches for those at the development with 6.7 hectares laid out as informal green open space.

For families, there is also a range of ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated schools nearby including St Stephen’s Primary School within walking distance.
