Barratt Homes has just unveiled a new range of homes at its fast-selling Woodland Heath development a few miles north-east of Norwich.

Woodland Heath is a collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes located in Sprowston, a on the outskirts of Norwich, offering an opportunity to live away from the bustle of a city lifestyle but still benefiting from local conveniences close by including shops, restaurants, healthcare facilities and a number of 'Good' and 'Outstanding' rated schools. It’s been very popular, with six homes sold in four weeks.

The current range of three- and four-bedroom properties for sale are priced between £311,995 and £394,995. Barratt Homes is right now offering a free flooring package on selected plots at Woodland Heath.

Among the house types just released here is the ‘Moresby’ on Plot 306, which is priced at £317,995 and available through Help to Buy, which would require a deposit of just 5%. This double-fronted semi-detached offers lots of natural light. The lounge is dual aspect, as is the fitted kitchen/dining room on the other side of the hallway, with French doors to the garden. Also downstairs is a useful, large cupboard and a WC. Upstairs, two of the three bedrooms are doubles (one with en suite) and a family bathroom completes the layout. This home comes with two parking spaces.

‘Chester’ house type‘Chester’ house type

Plot 307 is another of the latest collection of homes. It is the ‘Chester’ house type and priced at £343,995, also qualifying for Help to Buy. This detached property comes with a singke garage and two parking spaces. The living room is at the front of the house, and at the rear is the kitchen/dining room, which has French doors to the garden. There’s a downstairs cloakroom and some handy storage under the stairs. Two of the four bedrooms are comfortable doubles, the other two offering flexibility of use as bedroom, hobby room or home office. The ‘Alderney’ on Plot 300 is another detached four-bedroom house type, this one priced from £394,995, so can also be purchased with the government-backed Help to Buy scheme. This L-shaped house type has a dual-aspect living room with French doors to the rear garden, and a spacious triple-aspect kitchen/breakfast/family with its own set of doors to the garden. There’s also a separate dining room, a downstairs WC and two storage cupboards off the hallway. Upstairs, three of the bedrooms are generous doubles, with an en suite shower room to bedroom one. Bedroom four could equally function as home office. There’s also the family bathroom on this floor. This house type comes with single garage and two parking spaces. There’s an ‘Alderney’ show home at this development, which can be viewed by appointment seven days a week.

Residents her are on the doorstep of some lovely countryside on your doorstep as well as direct access to Norwich city centre and excellent links to Ipswich and Thetford from the A140 and the A11. Norwich International airport just 3.4 miles away and nearby Salhouse railway station is great for commuters to Norwich, Ipswich and Thetford.
