Keith OsborneBarratt Homes – part of WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year 2019, Barratt Developments – is inviting Derbyshire house-hunters to free mortgage advice events it is hosting at some of its schemes in the county this coming weekend, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 January.
High Peak Meadow is one of them, situated to the south of Buxton and with a number of three- and four-bedroom homes for sale, with starting prices from £267,995 to £333,995. Buyers here will find a great range of offers on selected plots. Barratt introduced its Key Worker Deposit Contribution initiative during lockdown but it continues now, offering a saving of up to £25,000 for qualifying buyers across a host of professions. Barratt also operates a number of types of Part Exchange. The HBF-backed Deposit Unlock scheme – which requires a deposit of just 5% – is available on the ‘Maidsley’ (from £268,995) , with three bedrooms (one en suite), lounge and kitchen/dining room. Movemaker – where the housebuilder deals with the estate agent in the place of the buyer, with no fees payable – is an option on the three-bedroom ‘Eskdale’ (from £333,995), with French doors from both its dual-aspect living room and its kitchen/dining room.
The ‘Kingsley’
Next door to this development is Heathfield Nook, also benefitting from being just a couple of miles from the town centre and on the doorstep of the Peak District. This site offers some different three- and four-bedroom house designs, with starting prices from £314,995 to £406,995. There’s a choice of 5% deposit paid or 105% Part Exchange on Plot 64, the detached ‘Chester’ (from £328,995), with a single garage, private driveway, two double bedrooms, two single bedrooms and separate kitchen/diner and lounge. Movemaker is an option of the ‘Kingsley’ (from £358,995), with three of its four bedrooms double (one with en suite shower room), a lounge, a kitchen/dining room, utility room and two private parking spaces.
Just outside Whaley Bridge, halfway between Buxton and Stockport, Midshires Meadow has a few three-and four-bedroom houses with starting prices between £357,995 and £513,995. Residents are only a few minutes from the well-served town centre and station, plus a number of gyms and sports clubs. Here, buyers can ask the sales team about using Deposit Unlock on the three-bedroom ‘Andover’ (from £357,995) with integral single garage, three bedrooms (one en suite), a utility room off the kitchen/diner, and a separate living room. For a larger home, the ‘Hertford’ starts at £513,995 and also comes with single integral garage. It has a kitchen/dining/family room at the back, with French doors to the garden, a lounge at the front, and upstairs, a study and four comfortable double bedrooms, one with its own shower room.
