Latest Homes To Launch In Hackbridge On Saturday

Posted 4 February 2021 by Keith Osborne

Barratt London unveils a new collection of three- and four-bedroom houses at New Mill Quarter this weekend...

This weekend, on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February, seven brand new family homes will be launching on Felnex Avenue, at Barratt London’s New Mill Quarter development in Hackbridge. There will be four three-bedroom houses and three four-bedroom houses available.

Set across three storeys, the three-bedroom homes will offer an open-plan kitchen/dining space on the ground floor along with a private garden, downstairs WC and a carport. The first floor plays host to a separate living room opening directly on to a terrace, and a double bedroom, whilst the remaining bedrooms are situated on the top floor, one of which is en suite. The other bedrooms are serviced by a family bathroom.

The four-bedroom houses follow a similar layout, but include a fourth storey, which is home to the master suite and an impressive amount of storage space.

New Mill Quarter is a joint development between Barratt London and David Wilson Homes, located within the London Borough of Sutton. Forming part of the Hackbridge Gardens development, a scheme transforming the one-million-sq-ft site of the former Felnex trading estate, the development itself will feature living walls and podium gardens, with nearby running and cycle trails through the 143-acre Beddington Park.

Hackbridge Station is positioned opposite the development, allowing residents to commute into central London from Zone 4 in less than half an hour. For those commuting locally, bus routes and an on-site car share scheme will be introduced to further enhance the development’s sustainability. Also on the site will be a Lidl supermarket with in-store bakery, a proposed café and a variety of shops, creating an ideal community with all amenities on the development’s doorstep.

Barratt London is building 479 new homes, 39 of which will be affordable. The new homes will include one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom houses, and London Help to Buy is available on eligible plots.

The new houses launching this weekend will start from £631,995.
