Keith OsborneBarratt Homes is extending its offering at the popular Ness Castle development in Inverness by adding six apartments following a spike in interest from buyers.
The limited number of two-bedroom properties will add to the already thriving community at the Mey Avenue development, which is situated just three miles from the city centre. Nestled between the city and the countryside, the newly announced apartments are set to be popular with first-time buyers, downsizers and young professionals seeking the best of urban and suburban living.
David Palmer, managing director for Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Scotland, says the expansion will help to meet the demand for high-quality, affordable homes in the suburbs.
He said: “We’re seeing more and more people move from the city to the suburbs in pursuit of a lifestyle change. This trend is continuing to drive demand for new homes in more rural areas. The expansion at Ness Castle will allow us to bring even more high-quality homes to Inverness. They are a great choice for first-time buyers, downsizers and young professionals who are looking for a modern home with the benefits of both city and outdoor living on their doorstep.”
The new property types, the ‘Isla’ and the slightly larger ‘Ury’ each boast a front-facing lounge, open-plan kitchen and dining area, a shower room, two double bedrooms and plenty of storage throughout. They are designed with modern living in mind, with flexible features, bright, airy, and luxurious spaces, resident parking and a handy bike store outside.
Situated in a prime location close to the South Loch Ness trail, the Ness Castle development is surrounded by woodland walks, with handy amenities nearby, transport links and quick access to the city centre.
The six new apartments have now been released for sale and are due for completion in April with an expected summer move in date. They will bring the total number of properties at the development to 499. Find out more about Ness Castle from Barratt Homes.
