Last Chances To Buy At Corby Scheme

Posted 13 January 2021 by Keith Osborne

There are just four unsold homes for buyers in Northamptonshire to consider at Barratt Homes' Lake View development...

Time is running out to join the community at Lake View in Corby, with just four homes remaining for sale there.

It is part of the Priors Hall Park development and set within acres of parkland and has been well-received by a range of property seekers. The remaining properties are various in sizes and will suit many different house-hunters, from first-time buyers to growing families.

Among those still for sale is the ‘Faringdon’ on Plot 313,, a spacious three-bedroom semi-detached home with over 1,000 sq ft of living space. This is priced at £261,895 and can be purchased though the government-back Help to Buy initiative.

Chanda Chileshe, senior sales manager at Barratt Homes Northampton, said: “It’s sad knowing our time at this great development is coming to an end, but we’re thrilled with the success we’ve had here. We’ve loved watching the community grow here over the years, and it is a development we’re extremely proud of. With only a handful of homes remaining, we recommend anyone looking for a new home in Corby to contact our sales team.”

Lake View is located just a mile away from the neighbouring village of Weldon, where there is a number of amenities including a local shop, an independent café and a pub. A nursery, primary school and secondary school can all be found within a one-mile radius. Corby is conveniently located less than four miles away, where residents can find Willow Place Shopping Centre, Corby International Pool, the Savoy Cinema and Gravity Trampoline Park.

The development is also nestled within extensive parkland and wooded area, and residents can benefit from cycle paths, walking routes and recreational areas. The nearby Priors Hall Park has lots of green open spaces including a couple of play areas, mature trees, two lakes and a number of water pools.

Lake View is well located for working professionals, with the A43, A427 and the A6116 nearby which make for easy access to surrounding towns such as Peterborough, Market Harborough and Kettering. There is also a train station less than three miles away for fast links from Scotland to London.
