Key Worker Deposit Boost Extended By Lancashire Homebuilder
Barratt Homes’ popular Key Worker Deposit Contribution has now been extended until the end of September 2022 at developments across Lancashire.
Originally set to end in June, the key worker buyers in Lancashire can receive a deposit contribution of up to £15,000 towards their new home thanks to Barratt Homes’ latest offer in Preston.
The housebuilder initially introduced the scheme at its Lancashire developments Rogerson Gardens, Cottam Gardens and Centurion Village in an effort to say thank you to key workers for their tremendous contribution to society throughout the pandemic.
Key workers will be entitled to a deposit contribution of £750 for every £25,000 spent, and can receive up to the value of £15,000. So, for example, when purchasing a £250,000 home, Barratt Homes would contribute £7,500 towards the deposit.
Michaela Lancaster, sales director of Barratt Homes Manchester, said: “Our NHS Deposit Contribution scheme was launched for our invaluable NHS staff at the start of the pandemic, as a thank you for their hard work, and we are very proud to continue lending a helping hand.
“We now want to open up this level of support to all of our key workers, and we are extremely proud to be able to introduce this offer at the three Lancashire developments.”
Beyond the NHS, the Key Worker Deposit Contribution offer also applies to numerous other sectors, including education, emergency services and environmental services.
Barratt Homes currently has a range of properties available for purchase with the scheme. Rogerson Gardens in Whittingham has three-bedroom homes with starting prices ranging from £229,495 to £283,495, Cottam Gardens in Preston offers three- and four-bedroom homes from £229,995 to £364,495 and Centurion Village in Leyland has three- and four-bedroom houses priced from £249,995 to £373,995.
