90% Sold At Stoke Prior Development

Posted 23 April 2021 by Keith Osborne

There are now only a few four-bedroom houses left for sale at Barratt Homes' Henbrook Gardens...

Barratt Homes is celebrating success at one of its Worcestershire developments as it surpasses the 90% sold milestone.

Located on Westonhall Road in Stoke Prior, construction at Henbrook Gardens began in summer of 2018 with plans to bring 214 homes to the community. With over 190 homes now sold or reserved, the development only has a small selection of four-bedroom homes remaining.

Tanya Silk, sales director at Barratt Homes West Midlands, said: “We are so pleased that Henbrook Gardens has now sold over 90% of its available homes, and that a community is now being established at the development. With buyers flocking to Worcestershire in the summer of 2020, we expect that more people will be drawn in by the surrounding countryside, meaning the remaining homes won’t be available for long as we head towards the warmer weather.”

Set in the quaint village of Stoke Prior on the banks of the Worcester and Birmingham canal, Henbrook Gardens is close to picturesque countryside as well as great transport links. The development is the ideal setting for those who like to explore the outdoors but have the benefit of commuter convenience nearby.

Stoke Prior is just south of Bromsgrove and thanks to numerous road links within just a few minutes of home, is well connected to the likes of Worcester, Kidderminster and Redditch. The A38 and M5 provide easy access into Birmingham and beyond. The village offers a selection of pubs within walking distance and families can also take advantage of Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club less than a two-minute walk away.

As well as new homes, the housebuilder is also made contributions totalling £431,079 towards education, bus stop improvements, and cycle parking, as well as providing a public open space on site, as part of the Section 106 (S106) agreement with Worcestershire County Council.

The remaining four-bedroom homes are a mix of semi-detached and detached house types, set over two or three storeys, with prices ranging from £318,995 to £422,995. House-hunters are welcome to ask the Barratt Homes team there about schemes such as Part Exchange, Movermaker and a deposit boost, which are available on selected plots. The development is open seven days a week, by appointment only.
