New First Phase Unveiled In Chester-Le-Street

Posted 1 April 2021 by Keith Osborne

Avant Homes has launched the first homes at Vanburgh Gate, its latest current development in County Durham...

Avant Homes has put the first homes for sale at its brand-new £20.8million, 83-unit Vanbrugh Gate development in Chester-le-Street.

Neighbouring its popular Barley Gate development, this new development features three- and four-bedroom homes across 16 signature house designs. Prices of the first homes range from £183,995 three-bedroom semi-detached home with two parking spaces to £299,995 for a four-bedroom detached property.

Vanbrugh Gate’s show homes are set to open in June 2021 with the first residents expected to move into their homes this summer.

Each property at Vanbrugh Gate comes with an open-plan living space fitted with a designer kitchen and integrated appliances, bi-fold doors, full-height tiled bathrooms and underfloor heating, which is the housebuilder’s newest enhancement to its standard specification.

Avant Homes North East sales and marketing director, Christine Harrison, said: “We’re very excited to have launched our first phase of homes with Avant Homes’ latest high-quality house designs and specification. With the first homes now available for buyers looking for a home in Chester-le-Street, we’re now gearing up to unveil our inspired show homes, where customers will get to experience first-hand everything Avant Homes has to offer.

“There is a real demand for high-quality new build homes in and around Chester-le-Street, which has been proven by the great response we received at Barley Gate, so we’re sure the first release of homes at Vanbrugh Gate will appeal to buyers looking to live in this area.”

Vanbrugh Gate is one of four developments Avant Homes has launched since the beginning of 2021. The four latest developments are located across Sunderland, County Durham and Gateshead, and will provide 409 new homes for the region.

Located on Vigo Lane just a short drive from Chester-le-Street town centre, residents of the new development will be close by to the A1(M) giving easy access to some of the North East’s major towns and cities including Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and Darlington.
