Choice of Homes Released In Newcraighall

The housebuilder has released a number of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes at the 223-unit development, with prices ranging from £172,000 for a two-bedroom home to £434,995 for a four-bedroom detached property.
Among the new homes is the popular two-bedroom ‘The Cranford’ house type , which is available to buyers as part of City of Edinburgh Council’s affordable housing tenure, Golden Share. The scheme will allow eligible purchasers to buy The Cranford at Balfour Park for 80% of the market value, but still benefit from owning 100% of their home.
The Golden Share scheme requires buyers to have a local connection to where they’re looking to purchase, a requirement for a property of the size they have an interest in and evidence they’re not able to solely purchase a home without the scheme. Following the purchase of a Golden Share home, owners will be able to sell their homes in the future for 80% of the current market value.
‘The Cranford’ homes are located within the heart of the development overlooking the village green. Prices range from £172,000 to £176,000 for the terraced homes, which come complete with a design-led specification, open-plan living space, utility room and two double bedrooms.
