First Homes Unveiled At West Rainton Site

Posted 15 July 2021 by Keith Osborne

The first phase of a 65-home development in County Durham has just been launched by Avant Homes...

The North East division of Avant Homes has launched the first homes at its £18.6million Allenson View development, which will deliver 65 new build properties in West Rainton, County Durham.

Located within walking distance of the centre of West Rainton and four miles north-east of Durham, the development will feature a selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom design-led homes across 12 house designs. Work commenced on the development in March 2021 and prices of the homes currently range from £249,995 for a three-bedroom detached home with a separate garage to £424,995 for a five-bedroom property.

Each property at Allenson View comprises a high-quality specification which includes flexible open-plan living space, designer kitchens with integrated appliances, bi-fold doors and boutique bathrooms complete with full-height tiling in a selection of designs.

Avant Homes North East sales and marketing director, Christine Harrison, said: “West Rainton has become an increasingly sought-after area for a wide range of buyers, so we’re very pleased to have successfully launched our new Allenson View development.

“We’ve had an excellent response since starting groundworks at Allenson View and with its excellent transport links and close-by amenities, we’re expecting the development to be popular with local homebuyers and we look forward to opening the show home to view later this year.”

West Rainton is a semi-rural location with local amenities, schools and supermarkets on the doorstep while also being home to Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve and English heritage site, Finchale Priory, just one mile away. The area is well connected with the A1(M) and the A19 close by giving easy access to major towns and cities.
