Launch Of New Homes In Melton Mowbray
Posted 4 February 2022 by
Keith OsborneAshberry Homes has just launched its new development in Melton Mowbray, with a sales office and two show homes now open to the public.
Construction work is progressing at the site, off Leicester Road, which has been named after the roundhouse-style homes that were built near Melton in the Iron Age era.
Emma Thomson, sales manager for Ashberry Homes Eastern Counties, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming visitors to the development for the first time. Right from the moment we announced our plans for the site, we have received a lot of enquiries from prospective purchasers interested in buying a new home at Roundhouse Park.
“The opening of the sales office will allow people to visit the site for the first time and to ask questions of our on-site team. By throwing open the doors of two show homes at Roundhouse Park we will enable customers to get a first-hand experience of how a home on the development could look.”
Ashberry Homes is building 114 properties at Roundhouse Park, which forms part of a wider scheme involving other developers, that will see 520 new homes delivered at the western edge of Melton Mowbray. The consortium of housebuilders, which includes Ashberry Homes, is to invest approximately £6million in local services and infrastructure.
Thomson said: “We are building a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for sale which we are confident will attract a mix of buyers. The high level of interest we have already experienced here shows that there is a rising demand for new housing in Leicestershire. This development will go some way to meeting this demand.
“Roundhouse Park is ideally situated as it is within walking distance of Melton Mowbray town centre and just off the A607 which puts Leicester and Nottingham within easy reach for commuters.”
