VIP Preview Event For New Homes In Heywood
Anwyl Homes Lancashire is preparing to launch its first new homes in Greater Manchester and is hosting special VIP preview event taking place from 5.00pm to 8.00pm on Tuesday 28 March at the Village Hotel in Bury.
A total of 120 new homes are being built by Anwyl across almost 15 acres of land on Manchester Road East in Heywood. Work at the development, known as Whittle Brook Park, which is part of the wider West Hopwood venture, started in late 2022. The first homes are due to be released for sale this spring.
Matthew Gould, sales director for Anwyl Homes Lancashire, said: “Whittle Brook Park is a landmark scheme for us as it’s our first development in Greater Manchester. We’re pleased to be playing our part in shaping the new West Hopwood community. We’ve been building a database of potential purchasers since we announced the acquisition of the site in the autumn. Those people will be invited to an exclusive event at which we’ll reveal our bespoke designed homes. There’s still time for would-be homeowners to join the VIP guest list and be among the first to find out more about the properties.”
Whittle Brook Park will feature three-, four- and five-bedroom mews, semi-detached and detached homes. They will include taller windows, steeper roof pitches with slate-grey tiles, feature chimneys and brickwork, and anthracite grey doors and windows.
The wider West Hopwood community will eventually comprise around 1,000 new homes, plus 1.5million sq ft of employment space, a local centre, new primary school, extensive public open space and sports pitches.
As part of its share, Anwyl will make community contributions worth almost £5.5million towards education, transport, highways, green spaces and sports pitches. This includes over £2.7million towards the cost of the new link road, under construction and due to complete by 22 November 2023, which will connect the West Hopwood community directly with junction 19 of the M62.
