Families Attracted To Liverpool Show Houses

Prior to lockdown, Anwyl Homes welcomed a steady influx of visitors to the Edenhurst Grange development in Bowring Park, Liverpool, but right now it is the video tours of show homes which are attracting family house-hunters in the area.

Matthew Gould, head of sales at Anwyl Homes Lancashire, said: “Taking a virtual tour is the next best thing to being able to view a property in person. Our YouTube channel features lots of footage of different house types, enabling buyers to look around different properties with the advantage of not being restricted by opening times and being able to pause, rewind and revisit at their leisure. The latest editions to the channel include ‘The Farndon’ and ‘The Glyn’ show homes at Edenhurst Grange.”

Anwyl enlisted a team of stylists from Interior Motives to dress these four-bedroom detached show homes. Maxine Scott, director of Interior Motives, said: “‘The Farndon’ show home has been designed to appeal to a family, with young children. We’ve used a colour palette of mustard, black and white throughout the property. Design influences include aspects from the 1920s and 30s right through to the present day with painted panelling and more contemporary-driven trends to create a modern family feel.”

'The Farnham'

‘The Farndon’ includes two fun children’s bedrooms – one with clashing prints and a tipi for playing or reading in; and the other with a custom-made flying zebra wall mural plus pompom flying kites hanging from the ceiling and large soft toys.

'The Glyn'

‘The Glyn’ show home has been styled with an older family in mind. It features a colour palate of claret, blush pink and neutral tones. Brass finishes to the furniture add a touch of glamour. It includes a blush pink bedroom with twin beds, plush headboards and a pair of white dressing tables, with flamingo themed panelling. There’s also a child’s bedroom inspired by the story “Bear Wants to Kiss The Moon”, featuring star wallpaper to all walls and a night sky wallpaper to the ceiling

Gould added: “It’s important that even the youngest family members feel included when choosing a new home. Creating children’s bedrooms with a sense of fun and personality in our show homes helps children feel engaged by enabling them to think what their new bedroom might be like.”

Current availability at Edenhurst Grange, just five miles east of Liverpool city centre, includes four-bedroom detached homes in a choice of styles, priced from £301,995 with the option of making an online reservation.
