Inspiring Show Home Open In Lincolnshire
Allison Homes is inspiring homebuyers in Lincolnshire with its impressive show home, following the official opening of its Bishops Grange development in Laceby, near Grimsby.

When decorating the show home, Abode took inspiration from the surrounding area and wonderful Lincolnshire countryside, to bring the outdoors inside in a homely fashion.
Grace Moulder, interior designer at Abode says: “I designed the space to incorporate how the people who would live in The Raithby would need a very social, family-friendly space to entertain, relax and dine. The development is on the doorstep of the Lincolnshire Wolds, and there are three rock climbing centres just 10 minutes away in Grimsby, so I ran with this outdoor theme for one of the children’s bedrooms. I had a lot of fun designing this room, with the quirky mountain headboard and climbing wall.
“Bishops Grange is also extremely close to the coast, so I thought an under-the-sea nursery would tie that coastal/country location in very nicely. With all of my designs, I love to link them in with the local area.”
When it came to selecting colours for the show home, Grace used a warm, friendly and cosy colour pallet of rich oranges, greys, leathers and rustic wood, along with a handful of industrial elements in copper tones.
Grace comments: “I wanted the show home to be cool and quirky, with the injection of fun artwork and some industrial elements, with the copper shelving and lighting throughout, to keep the colour scheme on trend, in a way that felt sophisticated and timeless.
“The best thing about the design of The Raithby show home is that it tells a story and feels like a home you could move straight into. My favourite area of the house is the family area, I think the bespoke copper shelving has really worked well, and the child’s bedroom is just fun and full-on – I can see a child really wanting to have a room like this!”
Bishops Grange is located near to the Lincolnshire coast, and is surrounded by stunning natural beauty overlooking the Wolds, along with Laceby village’s unique atmosphere and rich history.
