Housebuilder Allison Homes is hosting an Armed Forces weekend this Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April at its Harriers Rest development in Wittering, to help members of the British Armed Forces march onto the property ladder.

Harriers Rest, located off Lawrence Road and nearby RAF Wittering, is a collection of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.

The event is being hosted from 10am to 5pm and will allow attendees to find out more about benefits of Allison Homes’ Armed Forces package and the homes currently available. The Armed Forces package will allow active serving Army, Navy, RAF and MoD personnel to receive a £500 contribution for every £25,000 spent on their new home and will also receive free flooring throughout.

Independent financial advice experts from Evolve will also be present at the event to talk attendees through anything they may have questions about, give out free mortgage advice and respond to queries about the Government Forces Help to Buy scheme.

Charlotte Barber, sales manager at Allison Homes, says: “We are very excited for our Armed Forces Weekend, and are proud of having set it up as an opportunity for members of the British Armed Forces to better understand our Armed Forces package and take advantage of the offer. With Evolve present at the event, their independent financial experts will be on site to talk to attendees about getting mortgage fit and answer any question they might have about Forces Help to Buy. We can’t wait to see everyone at our event to make the most of our Armed Forces package. Give us a call to enquire before you miss your chance.”

The homes at Harriers Rest are designed with growing families, working professionals and downsizers in mind. Commuters can find the A1 on their doorstep, which connects to both London and Edinburgh. Peterborough and Stamford are also nearby, offering rail links to major cities such as London, Leicester, Cambridge and Birmingham.

The village of Wittering offers a whole range of local amenities and facilities, including a convenience store, country pub, and a fish and chip shop. It’s also a village with great character, featuring picturesque surroundings alongside a village hall, bowling green, and historic grade I listed church. Wittering Primary School, which is rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is also just a short walk away.

There are limited appointments are available for the Armed Forces Weekend. To book an appointment, visit https://forms.office.com/e/b6cSrSdYd5.
