Lumina by Berkeley delivers stylish apartments and hotel-style facilities in Camberley, Surrey

Posted 9 March 2020 by Katie Sakka

Launching on 14th March, Lumina is a beautiful new collection of stunning Manhattan, one and two-bedroom apartments located in one of Surrey’s latest regeneration hotspots, Camberley. Comprising contemporary homes, excellent hotel-style residents’ facilities and a beautifully landscaped garden exclusive to residents, the lifestyle here is one of style and comfort.

The homes at Lumina are designed with the keen attention to detail notable to all Berkeley developments. Each spacious home features high quality appliances and finishes, matched by contemporary, industrial-chic interiors. The development’s exterior is equally stylish with a distinctive half brick half glass façade.

The one-bedroom showhome, expertly designed by interior design studio Johnson Ribolla, the highly regarded interior design company formed in 2014 by an acclaimed architect and a brilliantly creative interior designer who specialise in creating elegant and timeless interiors, will be available to view. The home benefits from a spacious, open-plan living, kitchen and dining area; the contemporary kitchen’s composite stone worktop finishes and tiled splashbacks are complemented by pale oak flooring. The generously sized bedroom includes a full height wardrobe and fitted carpets, while the modern bathroom features white sanitary ware, bespoke mirrored cabinetry with feature lighting and chrome fixtures and fittings.

“Our design approach has been inspired by the juxtaposition between Surrey’s leafy countryside and the urban feel associated with London living. We wanted to introduce personality into each apartment by combining a colour palette of soft greens and blues with industrial touches, like black metal accessories and geometric rugs. Ultimately, we want the design of this homes to reflect the stylish, modern lifestyle on offer at Lumina”. Jane Johnson, co-owner Johnson Ribolla

Residents will benefit from Luminas' exclusive facilities which include a fully equipped residents’ exercise room and a private screening room – ideal for watching sporting events or films with friends. The state-of-the-art business lounge is perfect if you work remotely or flexibly offering the ideal place to work or hold meetings, while the landscaped garden provides residents with a peaceful sanctuary in which to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of Camberley’s vibrant town centre which is just moments from the development. Secure parking with electric car charging points is also provided.

“We have designed Lumina with Surrey’s next generation in mind. Camberley’s ongoing regeneration, a Surrey postcode and a great location opposite the station means it’s a real draw for homebuyers. We’re expecting it to be especially popular with young professionals, investors and local first-time buyers with the Berkeley brand and renowned quality, high specification and hotel-style residents’ facilities ensuring those living here enjoy the ultimate urban lifestyle.” Harry Lewis, Managing Director, Berkeley (Southern)
