Colour Of The Year 2021 Bringing Inspiring Show Homes

Posted 8 January 2021 by Keith Osborne

Some housebuilders have re-designed their show homes to include distinctive shades of grey and yellow...

Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2021 has recently been revealed as a fusion of two very opposing colours – Ultimate Gray and Illuminating Yellow. Described by the colour company as ‘a marriage of colour conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting’, the combination of the two independent colours is said to bring feelings of practicality but at the same time warming and optimistic, helping to bring light and hope to people after what was a very challenging 2020.

Some housebuilders have decided to implement this current interior design trend into their show homes, designing and dressing them in both yellow and grey colours to blend this year’s most popular trend with the radiance of a new home.

Here is a selection of new homes that are showcasing these new trends.
