A stylish three-bedroom duplex show apartment has been unveiled at Stone Studios in the heart of Hackney Wick…

Telford Homes has launched a sophisticated, three-bedroom duplex show apartment, in the heart of vibrant Hackney Wick.

Spread over two floors, the light-filled show home provides potential buyers ample, free-flowing living space - ideal for London living. Designed and dressed by London-based Rachel Battais Interiors, its modern exterior has been expertly married with vintage pieces, encapsulating the rich, industrial history of vibrant Hackney Wick.

With only 15 homes remaining, including two duplexes, buyers need to act quickly if they are to secure their dream home.

The apartment’s living area has been designed to showcase the breadth of potential uses - the cream sofa provides ample space for guests to relax and enjoy television after a long day. The room has been skillfully dressed with teak furnishings, as well as a selection of deep navy and chestnut brown cushions - these colours are picked up in the shades of blues and brown incorporated in front covers of the vintage books delicately arranged on the glass coffee table. Demonstrating the versatility of the space, the gold drinks cart becomes the perfect addition to the space, ideal for hosting an unforgettable evening.

In the dining area, future buyers can sit around an impressive black dining table complete with a ceramic vase containing a selection of carefully arranged dried eucalyptus and pampas grass. Drinks can be enjoyed at the kitchen island complete with bar stools, creating the ideal space for socialising at the weekend or even an additional place for working during the week.

Perfectly blending together the old and the new, at the end of the landing stands a tall shelving unit carefully decorated with vintage, statement pieces, including an antique tennis racket sourced from Wimbledon and a stoneware flagon jug. Around the corner, buyers step into the expansive, master bathroom, complete with a shower bath and traditional Victorian style taps. A ladder has been transformed into extra storage space for bathroom necessities - showing future residents how the ample space can be fully utilised.

Hallway

From the ceiling to the bottom of the stairs, the empty wall space in the hallway has been transformed into a quirky art gallery - showcasing the best, local talent. Steel pendant lighting that reflects the area’s rich industrial feel, illuminates the artwork and draws attention to all the detail.

Master bedroom

The master bedroom features a natural, organic colour palette; complete with beautiful artwork and reclaimed solid ash wood furniture that adds to the elegance of the space. Next to the bedroom is an impressive en-suite, providing a great deal of space for those getting ready quickly in the mornings.

Second bedroom

Across the hallway is the second bedroom, complete with a large, mirrored wardrobe - making it the ideal room for guests who never pack lightly. Both bedrooms offer deluxe finishes, including bespoke upholstered headboards that have been sourced from local suppliers and floor to ceiling curtains. Future buyers also have access to a spacious balcony with amazing views, overlooking Finsbury Park.

With hybrid-working now a normality, the third bedroom has been transformed into a stylish, yet functional, study with an impressive teak wood desk and a jet black sofa - perfect for escaping from day-to-day activities and focusing on work. Contrasting against the deep green walls are incredible retro black and white images and timeless records that brilliantly capture life in the 1980s. At the far end of the room is a floor to ceiling window that allows for an abundance of natural light ideal for improving productivity and wellbeing, making it the perfect space for distinguishing work from home life.

Rachel Battais, founder of Rachel Battais Interiors, comments: “I was delighted to come back to decorate yet another show home at Hackney Wick after instantly falling in love with the vibrancy and quirkiness of the area. The unique, vintage pieces that I chose for the space not only encapsulate the creativity of the surroundings, they also evoke certain emotions and memories for everyone that steps foot over the threshold.”

Simon Halfhide, sales director, Telford Homes, comments: “Stone Studios’ The Lofts are perfect for those who want to do city living a little differently. Designed to celebrate the area’s industrial heritage, the exclusive collection of stylish duplexes are at the heart of the new, distinctive live-work community. Hackney Wick provides residents with a diverse, eclectic community on their doorstep – with a host of bustling amenities from quirky bars, global eateries and independent breweries to vintage markets and live music venues.”

In addition to a selection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, the Stone Studios development also  includes over 5,000sqm of high-quality commercial space, of which 3,000sqm has been acquired by Creative Land Trust to offer as affordable workspace to local artists and entrepreneurs. Future residents will also have access to a communal courtyard that is complete with a play area and benches, perfect for socialising with family, friends and neighbours.

Buyers will also enjoy quick and easy access to the vibrant Broadway Market in nearby London Fields, as well as the shopping and entertainment options on offer at Westfield Stratford shopping centre. Nestled between the beautiful Victoria Park and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and conveniently located within close proximity to East London’s canal network and the River Lea, Stone Studios also offers an abundance of stunning green space within a stone’s throw from the development. Enjoy great transport links into central London, with direct public access to Hackney Wick Overground station (zone 2) as well as a 12-hour concierge and secure, purpose-built bicycle storage.

For those looking for something smaller, Stone Studios also features a host of one- and two-bedroom apartments.

The sales suite is located at Wallis Road, Hackney Wick, London E9 5LW.
