WhatHouse? takes a tour of a two-bedroom show apartment at Telford Homes’ successful Stone Studios scheme...

Telford Homes has launched its final stunning two-bedroom show apartment at Stone Studios, Hackney Wick, designed by Anita Rosato. With just one apartment remaining, Telford Homes will be offering the home in one full package, with all furnishings, fixtures and fittings included if you reserve by 31 August 2022.

The spacious apartment has been designed to reflect the vibrancy of Hackney Wick, perfect for a creative young professional looking to make the most of the London lifestyle. Features such as industrial-style metal cabinets in the living space, bedhead lights in the guest bedroom and the re-purposing of a potting table into a bar on the apartment’s vast terrace all encapsulate the rich, industrial history of Hackney Wick. The old and new are also perfectly blended with stylish features such as mid-century TV sideboard and Danish Library shelves. These pieces are trendy collectibles perfect for creative young professionals who may wish to live in the apartment.

The dining, living and kitchen area has been designed with an open-plan loft approach, highlighting opportunities for multiple uses. Filled with artwork, ceramics and accessories from local artists and suppliers who have been long standing residents of the area, the space also has a contemporary feel, making it perfect for entertaining.

Stone StudiosA colour scheme of muted blues and greens throughout the two bedrooms strikes a balance between injecting colour throughout the home and establishing a sense of calm. The palm leaf wallcovering by Manuel Canovas in the master-bedroom also maximises the natural light flooding the space, and acts as a nod to the greenery that surrounds the apartment including the Queen Elizabeth and Victoria Park, and the canal and riverscapes.

Stone StudiosShowing the adaptability of the home to meet a variety of lifestyle needs, the second bedroom features a desk space with a deep wooden desk, and rich blue velvet chair contributing to the opulent feel throughout the apartment. Ideal for hybrid workers, the home office space is positioned by the floor-to-ceiling window allowing residents to enjoy views of the art-filled Hackney Wick.

Anita Rosato Interior DesignDemonstrating the apartment’s potential for indoor-outdoor living, the expansive private terrace hosts a dining table for six people, and a fun outdoor bar, created from a re-purposed potting table. The private terrace overlooks the development’s residents’ courtyard with its beautiful landscaping and feathery birch trees providing privacy for each terrace and balcony.

Anita Rosato, Anita Rosato Interior Design, said: “This location is in the beating heart of cool, wedged between the stunning Queen Elizabeth and Victoria Park, adjacent to the Canal and riverscapes and well connected with the new Elizabeth line. With this in mind, I wanted to design the apartment for anyone who loves the essence that London stands for.”

In addition to a selection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, Stone Studios also offers over 5,000sqm of high-quality commercial space, of which 3,000sqm has been acquired by Creative Land Trust to offer as affordable workspace to local artists and entrepreneurs. Residents will also have access to a communal courtyard that is complete with a play area and benches, perfect for socialising with family, friends and neighbours, as well as a 12-hour concierge and secure, purpose-built bicycle storage.

Stone StudiosBuyers will enjoy quick and easy access to the lively Broadway Market in nearby London Fields, as well as the shopping and entertainment options at Westfield Stratford shopping centre. Nestled between the beautiful Victoria Park and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and conveniently located within close proximity to East London’s canal network and the River Lea, Stone Studios provides an abundance of green space right on your doorstep. Meeting the demand for green space as well as easy access to the city, the development is also perfectly connected to central London, with direct public access to Hackney Wick Overground station (zone 2).

Just one apartment remains at Stone Studios so prospective buyers will need to act fast to reserve their dream home, at £740,000. What’s more, you could be living in a home designed and furnished by a top interior designer, as Telford Homes will provide all the furnishings and fittings in the show apartment if you reserve before 31 August 2022.
