We aimed to emphasise the rural surroundings with a loose colour palette of warm spice tones and muted greens paired with natural shapes and statement lighting for the wow factor as well as a unique mural in the children’s bedrooms inspired by nature.”
Living Room
The living room incorporates the greens and pinks of the wider design scheme and nicely complements the light oak of the double doors making this a bight airy room to enjoy. A mixture of black-framed artwork, mirrors and coffee tables focuses in on the contemporary feel of the space.
Kitchen/family/dining area
On the spacious family/kitchen area, Lydia commented: “This room is the heart of the home with plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy, as well as socialising with friends. We designed this room with a light blush colour on the walls to maximise the natural light and added plenty of greenery in the accessories to bring some life into the space.”
The kitchen features neutral units, a large island and a breakfast bar, all of which beautifully complements the blush pink used on the walls. The room flows into the living area with the continuation of blush shades, indoor plants and black-framed accessories, also seen in the living room. The abstract landscape painting references the local outdoor space whilst the bi-fold doors also encourage the natural light to enter the room.
Bedroom one
The primary bedroom effortlessly combines nature with tones of grey and pink to create a fresh room filled with colour, texture and subtle hints of femininity. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling curtains and soft furnishings incorporate shades of green whilst a multitude of hanging indoor plants illuminate the natural theme of this room. An abstract statement ceiling light brings ambience to the room whilst other styling items add the desired elegance to the space.
Bedroom two
Bedroom two has been designed for a young child so encourages comfort, relaxation and imagination. The room functions as an exciting hub with fun design elements, cosy corners and space for young minds to develop. One of the in-house artists from Art Space Interiors hand painted an incredible mural in this bedroom which is a real feature of the home and illustrates woodland animals and flowers for a perfect nature theme.
Bedroom three/office
The third bedroom in ‘The Molineux’ has been transformed into a spacious office with contemporary lifestyles in mind and to demonstrate the versatility of this room; appropriate for a study, gym area, spare room or nursery.
The focus of the office is the impactful wooden panelling, bespoke handmade floating desk and pedestal creating a functional yet stylish area for working from home. Light-painted walls and ceilings, horizontal venetian blinds and soft touch carpets allow the room to flood with light and maximise comfort, both essentials for an office space.
