Expert View Of Show Homes In Nuneaton
David Wilson Homes has teamed up with Artspace Interior Design to share the inspiration behind the new show homes at the housebuilder’s recently launched Callendar Farm development in Nuneaton.
Located off Watling Street, close to St Nicolas Park, the newly formed community has a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes available to buy, with prices starting from £249,995.
The show homes were launched a few weeks ago so that property seekers can take a tour of and envision what the inside of their new home could look like.
Rachael Harrison, sales director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: “Each of our properties at David Wilson Homes are built to the highest standards using top quality materials. We like to take just as much pride in the interior designs as we do to our exteriors, and the new show homes at Callendar Farm are no exception.”
Kate Letteriello, managing director at Artspace, has shared the details on why the two carefully crafted homes at Callendar Farm are the perfect choice for those looking to make a move this summer.
The ‘Plato’ show home at Callendar Park
The ‘Plato’ show house
The ‘Plato’ is a three-bedroom detached property which has been designed with families in mind. Currently on sale from £379,995, it includes a modern kitchen-diner with French doors that lead out to a south-facing garden, as well as a single garage with parking spaces for up to two cars.
Kate said: “We used a strong colour palette, with opulent floral accents in the fabrics, creating an upmarket and contemporary feel to the property throughout. The panelled wall in the living room gives a classic but upmarket feel to the design, while the bold floral wallpaper in the cloakroom makes a colourful addition to the property.”
She explained how the kitchen and dining area of the home forms the heart of the ‘Plato’, which provides the perfect space for families to gather and host guests.
“There is a real ‘wow’ factor in the property from the moment you enter, with the striking black-and-white striped wallpaper drawing you in and leading you into the large open-plan kitchen and family space. The combination of colours creates a welcoming space where the floral wallpaper with a delicate metallic centre catches the light beautifully.”
The ‘Moss’ show home at Callendar Park
The ‘Moss’ show house
The ‘Moss’ is a spacious property which is currently on the market from £469,995 and is the perfect option for growing families or those looking to upsize. Complete with four double bedrooms – one of which has an en suite, as well as an additional room downstairs that can be utilised as a home office, playroom or workout space – this property is extremely versatile in nature.
Kate said: “We wanted the ‘Moss’ to have a light, bright and fun feel to it, but at the same time bring a sense of calm to enable families to unwind at the end of a busy day. For this reason, we used a spicy, earthy and metallic colour palette, with some wood and chrome accents throughout the property to give a more natural feel.”
Kate explains how the study and children’s bedroom are two highlights of the property: “The study provides a multi-functional space that can be used by the whole family, featuring key storage pieces and areas for homework, crafting or working from home. Our favourite feature has to be the ‘out of this world’ space theme in the fourth bedroom. The bespoke backlit moon headboard makes a perfect feature on the starry wallpaper that continues to the ceiling, giving an exciting, fun and quirky element to this room.”
