Award-winning housebuilder William Davis Homes is laying the foundations for one of its most ambitious development programmes in the company’s 85 year history. Two brand new sites have just opened and four more will be launched before the end of the year.

It signals a major confidence boost for the Midlands economy following a challenging time for many businesses due to the pandemic. William Davis Homes has continued to perform strongly and is now looking to the future with optimism.

The Loughborough-based company, which employs around 400 people, currently has ten ‘live’ developments across the Midlands. Over the next 12 months it will be building hundreds of its signature properties in prime locations to help meet the ever growing demand for new homes.

Steve Rush, sales director at William Davis Homes, said the company is emerging from the pandemic in a healthy position and is looking forward to a bright future.

“The new programme of development is the culmination of years of hard work and detailed planning by everyone connected with the company,” he said. “I am delighted we are still on track to deliver these high-quality new homes. Great credit must go to our loyal workforce for their dedication in these challenging times. Our new developments are in fantastic locations and are ideal for families, couples or individuals.”

The latest site to open is in Castle Donington, where sales staff have already been inundated with enquiries, showing the housing market remains buoyant. Regency Park will have 183 two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, with 55 built in the initial phase. Prices currently start at £245,000.

This summer has also seen the launch of Lace Fields on the edge of Ruddington village in Nottinghamshire. The first phase of work on that development includes 57 properties as part of an overall total of 180 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.

Over the coming months, four more sites will be launched in Leicestershire and Warwickshire. The first of these will be in August at Willowbrook in Loughborough, where 33 homes are being built. The others are 146 homes at Houlton, Rugby, 46 homes at Hastings Green, Kirby Muxloe and 22 homes at Scholars Court, Gibbet Hill, Coventry.

In addition, further phases are being built at existing developments in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Worcestershire. They include allocations of affordable housing to help local families stay in the area and measures to help the environment. You can find out more about Prince’s Place, Radcliffe on Trent (latest phase 31 homes, total 400) and Copcut Rise, Droitwich (latest phase 59 homes, total 696).

There are also ‘live’ sites at Rothley Meadow in Rothley, Leicestershire; Buttercup Fields in Shepshed, Leicestershire; Oak Grange in Littleover, Derby; Skylarks in Chesterfield, Derbyshire; and Treetops at Matlock, Derbyshire.

Experienced sales consultants continue to be available on an appointment-only basis to provide a highly professional and personal service for potential buyers. William Davis Homes has built a reputation for quality, style and excellent customer care.

This year the company secured the industry’s prestigious ‘5 Star’ status for the sixth successive occasion. The award is the highest rating given by the Home Builders Federation and is based on customer satisfaction surveys.
