National housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has announced launches at two developments in the East of Scotland, both offering a very wide range of properties.

Phase 2 at Letham Mains development near Haddington, East Lothian comprises 66 homes, a mix of two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £192,000 for the ‘Andrew’ two-bedroom, semi-detached home. There are two show homes which are available to view by appointment, or alternatively buyers can check out a virtual tour.

Kirsty McGill, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said: “The response to our development at Letham Mains so far has been incredible and we have delivered a mix of homes for buyers in a variety of circumstances.”

These properties are part of a wider development of just over 800 new homes that will bring a host of local community benefits in the future. These include the provision of a primary school site, a new road linking West Road to Pencaitland Road, a new sports pitch and changing facilities, as well as a new park running east/west through the development alongside the Letham Burn.

Situated on the River Tyne and boasting tranquil riverside walks, Haddington is the largest town in East Lothian. It has an impressive range of local amenities including great schools, and its vibrant High Street offers a good selection of independent shops, bars and restaurants. There are nearby coastal towns such as Dunbar and North Berwick, and residents have good road and public transport connections.

The Fairbairn'The Fairbairn', Hawthorn Gardens

Hawthorn Gardens in South Queensferry has also been ‘virtually’ launched. Situated at South Scotstoun, it offers an excellent choice of two-bedroom apartments as well as two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes from this housebuilder’s Scottish and Caledonian house type ranges. Right now, prices currently range from £300,000 for the ‘Chalmers’ three-bedroom semi-detached home up to the £410,000 for the ‘Maxwell’ four-bedroom detached home.

McGill commented: “Interest has been incredibly high since we started our construction and enabling works at Hawthorn Gardens last year, and the team already has a number of online appointments booked in.”

Interested buyers can speak to the sales executives and take a virtual tour, seven days a week.
