Bournemouth Show Homes Proving Popular

Keith OsborneAfter a successful launch in mid-September, there’s a been a lot of interest in The Wessex apartment scheme in Bournemouth and its two show homes.
In the week after Inland Homes unveiled the development, which is situated along Bournemouth’s West Cliff Road just five minutes from the iconic clifftop, 11 homes were snapped up and there continues to be strong interest in booking appointments to see the show units first-hand.
The Wessex comprises a collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments alongside a brand new hotel.
Vicki Noon, sales and marketing director at Inland Homes, commented: “We’re thrilled with the amount of positive feedback we’ve received so far on our fantastic new development. We’ve seen lots of interest from a variety of buyers, including first-time buyers and downsizers looking for a new property by the coast. The Wessex is in such a fantastic location and is in reach of every amenity needed to live a fulfilling lifestyle, so we expect lots more interest in the coming weeks.”
Lydia Graham, client services director at Artspace Interiors, said of the new show apartments: “Plot 6 is a luxurious two-bed apartment, so we wanted to show this off with a rich colour palette of mulberry with soft blues. Opulent gold wallpaper in the hallway sets the tone for this apartment, with other plush elements like panelling in the master bedroom, marble touches and luxurious fabrics being used throughout. Slight nods to the local seaside were added through the artwork and accessories.”
“We were also conscious there will be a diverse buyer-type at the Wessex, so in Plot 5 we wanted to create a contrast to the luxury apartment in Plot 6 and have something that was vibrant and fun! The bold colours were paired with geometric prints and wire furniture for a modern feel that was aspirational yet achievable.”
A typical two-bedroom apartment has underfloor heating and boasts open-plan living and dining spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural lightsome properties come with a private balcony or terrace. Kitchens benefit from a selection of integrated appliances including a stainless steel oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher as well as handy plumbing for a washer/dryer to the utility cupboard. The master bedroom comes complete with an en suite, whilst a further bedroom and bathroom completes the property.
Prices at The Wessex start from £225,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £300,000 for a two-bedroom unit. Residents have access to secure underground parking facilities.
Just a short walk from home at The Wessex, residents will be able to enjoy seven miles of sandy beach and calm sea views as well as a cosmopolitan city centre which offers a host of leisure, entertainment and culture facilities including a high street with a mixture of well-known retail stores, cafés and independent boutiques.
Just a short drive away, the A338/A31 can connect residents westwards to Dorchester or northwards towards Salisbury and beyond. By rail, Bournemouth station is a seven-minute drive away and has services that connect to central London in two hours.
