David Wilson Homes – part of WhatHouse? Award Housebuilder of the Year 2019, Barratt Developments – is celebrating the success of its Cambridgeshire development, Northstowe, as it is now over 85% sold with the remaining homes gathering a lot of interest amongst growing demand for properties in the town.

There is still a range of three- and four-bedroom properties remaining, well-suited to first time buyers, working professionals and growing families alike. One is on Plot 275, called the ‘Cannington’, a semi-detached home overlooking open green space and a play area. It offers some 1,198 sq ft of living space over three floors, with a south-facing garden and two allocated parking spaces. The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen, dining and family room, with a glazed bay to the garden, along with a cloakroom and a study. There’s a lounge, double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and two more double bedrooms, one with en suite, on the second floor. This home is priced at £438,995 and comes with an upgraded kitchen with integrated appliances and flooring, saving you over £5,000.

Residents of the Wellington Road development will benefit from a selection of shops within walking distance as well as a primary and secondary school on the development. The housebuilder has also been creating green corridors and waterways that provide a place for people to enjoy and relax.

Will Phair, sales director at Barratt Homes Cambridgeshire, said: “We are delighted with the success we are having at Northstowe. Due to the success of the development, we have a small selection of homes left available to purchase for house hunters to join this thriving and established community. We are encouraging those looking to join our growing neighbourhood to act swiftly and book an appointment with our sales advisers who can provide an abundance of information about the development.”

Northstowe has been designed with a healthy and well balanced lifestyle in mind, with a network of safe walking and cycling routes in to and around the new town. Northstowe benefits from excellent commuter links to the local Park and Ride and upgraded A14 and M11 all just minutes away. The development also benefits from the Guided Busway that arrives in Cambridge in under 30 minutes.

Prices at Northstowe currently range from £438,995 to £522,995. Find out more from David Wilson Homes.
