Launch Of Fifth Phase At Daventry Development
Crest Nicholson welcomed Daventry Town Mayor, Councillor Malcolm Ogle to celebrate the launch of the fifth and final phase at the 932-home Monksmoor Park site.
The mayor took part in a tour of the development and officially unveiled Monksmoor Park’s final sales suite at Union Place with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Almost a decade since Crest Nicholson first began construction in 2013, the development today is an established community, featuring Monksmoor Park CE Primary School and Nursery which opened in 2018, along with acres of open green space, play areas, public art, and an extension to Daventry Country Park. Other additions to be delivered include allotments for residents and local people as well as a local centre with community building, retail units and office space.
The last phase at Monksmoor Park will comprise 24 homes in total, including a collection of contemporary two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and will feature a number of Crest Nicholson’s new house types.
Families looking for flexible living can consider the three-bedroom ‘Evesham’, which features a spacious kitchen-dining area with a separate living room, providing plenty of space and multi-functionality suited to the needs of modern buyers. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Whilst the main bedroom has access to its own en suite, the other bedrooms share a well-proportioned family bathroom. For larger families, the four-bedroom ‘Romsey’ boasts an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, providing ample space to accommodates entertaining, family life, and homeworking. Upstairs, it has three spacious double bedrooms including one main bedroom with its own en suite and an additional single bedroom, which could equally function as a nursery for growing families or a home office.
Vanessa MacNee, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Midlands, commented: “Nearly ten years since we laid the first brick on this site, we’re delighted to welcome today Councillor Malcolm Ogle to our Monksmoor Park development, celebrating the launch of the site’s final phase.
