First-Time Buyers Find Perfect Home In Wittering
Ilii, 32, and Alexandrina Vizir, 23, made the move to Harriers Rest after renting a bungalow in Hampton, Peterborough. The couple, from Moldova, were ready to settle down in a place they could call their own after getting married in 2018.
Ilii says: “We used the government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme to purchase our home. The scheme was the perfect option for us, and the whole process was so smooth and efficient. We were so excited to live in a home that was truly ours, and couldn’t wait to put our own unique stamp on it. Allison Homes provided us with so much choice – we were able to choose the colour of the carpet, floor and kitchen, and even the detailing in the bathroom. We really enjoyed buying new furnishings and interior décor too, it really made the place feel like it was ours and we knew we could build a life together here.”
Ilii and Alexandrina moved into The Normanby, a three-bedroom home, after falling in love with the property at first-sight.
Alexandrina says: “We came to view the house and immediately knew that it was where we wanted to settle down. Everything was perfect, the property is the ideal size for us and we instantly felt so at home. My favourite room has to be the kitchen. It’s so spacious and all the new appliances are brilliant, especially the oven and the fridge. I love baking cheesecakes and I’ve been having a great time making them in our new kitchen. We love spending time in the living room and large garden too, and having an allocated parking space is a huge benefit.”
Alongside the home itself, Ilii and Alexandrina also adored the location and its easy access to nearby Stamford.
Alexandrina says: “We chose Harriers Rest because of the area – it’s quiet and private, with beautiful countryside and everything we were looking for. Stamford is the next city over, just 4.6 miles away, and is a really lovely place to visit, with lots of shops and high streets.”
The couple bought their home with Allison Homes after hearing a rave review from one their friends, who had also bought an Allison property.
