Family Personalise Their New Home While Buying Off-Plan

Ayodeji and Ariyike (both 39) along with their two children, Adeoluwa (10) and Anuiye (7), are excited to make the move to their dream home in early 2021. 

After deciding that it was the best time to purchase their forever home, the family were keen to find a home off plan that they could make unique to them. They soon found the home they had been looking for in the semi-detached ‘Aster’ house type, at Taylor Wimpey’s Pine Trees development.

Ayodeji said: “We wanted to take full advantage of the Stamp Duty holiday before it expires next year and it has enabled us to purchase a bigger home for the next phase of our family life and in a community that we know we will love. 

“It is an extremely satisfying feeling knowing that we are a part of the build process, having the opportunity to customise certain elements of the home as it is being built. Also, as with any off-plan home, we had the option to choose our own fixtures and fittings.”

Discussing why they chose the ‘Aster’ house type, Ariyike said: “The layout of the home was perfect for our family. My husband is excited about the en-suite bedroom on the third level of the home, the space and privacy is his ideal sanctuary. I fell in love with the kitchen and I can’t wait to set it all up. We were offered upgrades on our kitchen cabinets, high-specification integrated appliances and upgraded wall and floor tiles and we absolutely love them.”

When asked if the family had any advice for those looking to buy off-plan, Ayodeji said: “Get in there early! There is nothing to fear and the sales team are able to guide you through the entire purchase and the build process. Approaching new developments early is key as you get the luxury of choosing the best plots and incentives.” 

“The experience so far has been amazing and a special thanks to the sales team for being so helpful every step of the way. We can’t wait to start making memories in our new home.”
