Couple Say “I Do” To A New Home In Hamilton
Julia, 28, a radiographer for the NHS, and her husband William, 31, a safety critical supervisor, along with their Chow Chow, Taco, knew they'd found their dream home and were eager to say they do!
"We both grew up in Hamilton and couldn't think of a better location to buy our dream home," says Julia as she explained why the location of Miller Homes' Highstonehall development was perfect for the pair.
Julia continues: "My parents bought a new build home 20 years ago in Hamilton. We loved going round for our Sunday dinner and enjoyed spending time exploring the community with our dog Taco and my parent's Golden Retriever Marley. During our visits, we saw Miller Homes were building their Highstonehall development, and as soon as we set foot in the show home, we knew it was the one for us. It was love at first sight. We were actually living in a new build home at the time, which we went on to sell in order to buy our dream four-bedroom, Fletcher.
"Hamilton allows us to be around the corner from my parents, near William's family and just down the road from many of our friends who also grew up in the South Lanarkshire area. It's a great place for us to take Taco on woodland walks, and we love spending time exploring all the wonderful dog-friendly cafes in the town centre."
The couple are delighted with their new home and couldn't help but rave about the buying experience: "We were very impressed with the team at Miller Homes who made our whole buying journey a flawless experience from start to finish. Helen and Neil on the site were brilliant and communicated with us every week to ensure we had all the advice and support we needed.
"William and I couldn't quite believe our luck when we managed to secure the Fletcher as they are so popular amongst buyers. We both thoroughly enjoyed planning our new home - picking tiles and adding all the features to personalise our home just how we wanted it."
The newlyweds were looking for a home that would be just as perfect for relaxing together as it would be when entertaining family and friends. Julia explains: "Our Fletcher is a gorgeous home with a layout designed with a family like ours in mind. We're in love with our kitchen dining space, where we've got a sofa that's perfect for unwinding after a long day at work. The space is the heart of our home, and we can't wait to make memories as Mr and Mrs Davies."
The four-bedroom Fletcher has everything the couple could need and more with a laundry room, garage and separate lounge, as well as four bedrooms, two of which boast en-suites. Julia adds: "Although right now it's just William, Taco and I, this home is one we can grow into as a family and enjoy for years to come."
