Second Lovell Home Is Twice As Nice For Telford Family

From one Lovell property to another – a family from Telford have found their dream family home at Lovell Homes’ Principal Point development, after relocating from the same housebuilder’s The Oaklands development in the same town.

Nathan Clyne, 27, and Michaela Winters, 30, made the move to a brand new home at Principal Point, as their two-bedroom home at The Oaklands was no longer big enough, following the birth of their two-year-old daughter Olivia.

Using the government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, the couple upsized to a three-bedroom ‘Burton’ style home, which offers plenty of space across three floors. This property features a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious living room with French doors to the rear garden, with three bedrooms spread out over the top two floors – perfect for a young family of three.

The property is also very energy efficient, with the couple finding that they are using the same, or less, energy than before despite living in a bigger home.

Nathan, a machine technician, said: “We fell in love with the layout of the ‘Burton’ style home, as its three storeys provide lots of storage and space which is just what we needed for our family of three.

“We like that it’s a private area too, we’re on the edge of the development so there’s no other houses around us aside from other similar properties that all have the same feel to them. It’s really warm and welcoming, and feels like home as soon as you walk through the door. We’ve got to know our neighbours quite well too, it’s a lovely community but also feels nice and secluded.”

Michaela, a factory worker, added: “We really like the layout of the Lovell homes, and when we looked around the Principal Point show home the sales executives treated us with so much respect, we never felt like we were being pushed into anything.

“We’re excited to grow our family in this spacious home, and we love that there’s a park being built on-site where we can play with Olivia.”
