A First Brand New Home For Yorkshire Couple
After working all his life as a farmer in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, David Close, 71, and wife Lorraine, decided it was time to take the plunge and enjoy their retirement in their first-ever brand new property, at Harron Homes’ Kings Croft.
“This has been our first ever house move, after living on our family’s farm for all our lives, so it has been a brand new experience for us”, David said. “Selling our farm was heart-breaking – my family have owed it since 1898, but we have been made to feel so welcomed by everyone at Kings Croft. A brand new, modern home appealed to both David and Lorraine, who after living and working in an old farmhouse, are looking forward to enjoying their retirement without the hassle and maintenance of a property that always needs work.
