Norfolk Family Invests In Spacious New Cringleford Home

Posted 9 September 2022 by Keith Osborne

The Otomoso family are delighted at finding a brand new house at Cringleford Heights from David Wilson Homes...

For a family of four, a small move just seven miles closer to the historical city of Norwich has proven to make a big difference.

Parents Akeem (42) and Zainab Otomoso (37) had been searching for a spacious new home offering greater locational benefits and a more sociable layout, while living in their first owned home, a five-bedroom detached property in Wymondham.

After searching around many new build developments to find a home that ticked all their boxes, both parents and their two children, Aleemah (13) and Fareed (10), were able to find their perfect place at David Wilson Homes’ Cringleford Heights community.

Despite their downsize, the family found that the open layout of the four-bedroom ‘Winstone’ style home provided the perfect amount of space to cater to their lifestyles.

Akeem said: “We set out with a goal to find a spacious new build home, as we liked the idea of moving into a previously unoccupied house and starting fresh. There’s also a 10-year NHBC structural warranty which comes with buying a brand new home, which enabled us to buy with confidence and also have the ability to put our own stamp on the property.

“After searching thoroughly for a new build home in the area, we were able to find an excellent new home at Cringleford Heights which suited all our needs.”

Akeem added: “What attracted us to the property was its unique modern layout, the kitchen and bathroom space, and the walk-in wardrobe – these elements really stood out to us and have the wow-factor. The children love it too. Our old property didn’t have a study, and I have found it to be very beneficial as I work from home as a cyber security consultant. We’re also closer to Zainab’s work too, she works as a student nurse.”

The location of Cringleford has brought the family closer to the city and the A47, while also enabling them to benefit from village life with a whole range of convenient facilities and stores on their doorstep.

Akeem added: “We have invested in Cringleford for the future as it is a very convenient location to own a home. We also appreciate the layout of the development as a whole – it’s a great place to live.”

The family were able to make a smooth and easy transition into their new home, thanks to the housebuilder’s team at the Colney Lane community.

Akeem said: “We would 100% recommend David Wilson Homes. The level of quality available is great and the team at the development are excellent.”
