Estate Agent Secures New Home In Wimborne

After selling hundreds of homes in the area, one estate agent immediately knew she’d found “the one” when a property at a new development in Wimborne went up for sale.

Laura Lewis (30) has moved in at Barratt Homes Quarter Jack Park with her partner, Leigh Corless (31), and she is over the moon with their first home in the new community.

Working as an estate agent at Edwards Estate Agents in Wimborne, Laura knows the leading housebuilder’s development well, so when homes at Quarter Jack Park started selling, it wasn’t long before she made an appointment to look around. The couple were looking for a home in a convenient location for both their jobs, with good transport links and plenty of space inside – something that Laura says they now have in abundance.

“Some people have misconceptions of new-build properties regarding lack of space,” she said, “but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Our lovely new home has all the room we need, and it’s situated on a development with lots of open space for us to enjoy.”

She added: “Quarter Jack Park is in an excellent location, close to the town centre and within easy reach of Bournemouth and Poole, so I’m always happy to recommend a home here.”

The location of the Wimborne development was a real winner for Laura and Leigh. Ten minutes away from Laura’s place of work and with easy access to the motorway, for Leigh.

Leigh said: “I travel around the country testing lifting equipment, so good transport links was a must. And with Laura working just around the corner, Quarter Jack Park’s location is ideal for us.”

It was the ‘Roseberry’ property at Quarter Jack Park that the couple moved into at the end of August. The two-bedroom home comes with a spacious lounge, kitchen and dining space, and French doors opening onto the garden. There’s also a handy storage cupboard and cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with a large storage cupboard, and a family bathroom. The home also has two parking spaces.

With a blank canvas to make their own, the first-time buyers have already been putting their own stamp on the new property.

Leigh added: “It’s been great to move straight into a home that doesn’t need any maintenance. We’ve just been adding our own choice of colour and extras to make it our own. We’re so happy here.”
