A Smooth Move for Family Thanks to Part Exchange
Stephen, 51, and Antonio Griffiths-Murru, 43, and their two children, Bailey, 11, and McKenzie, 10, recently chose to settle down at Lyveden Fields development from WhatHouse? Award-winning housebuilder, Barratt Homes, after finding a spacious property that fulfilled all their needs.
Stephen says: “We purchased the Halesowen type home, a detached four bedroom property, as we love having lots of space and relaxing and the kitchen/family room in our home is great for enjoying time together.
“It’s spacious with a really large kitchen and family room, we also have a really large garden which is not looked over at all and no parking issues as we have plenty of room for two vehicles on our drive.”
The family used the Part Exchange scheme to make a move to the four bedroom detached Halesowen style home, after being attracted to the modern design.
Barratt Homes’ Part Exchange scheme is a popular initiative which is ideal for those who are looking to upsize their home but are struggling to find a buyer, or simply want to cut out all the hassle of selling their existing house independently. It means a guaranteed buyer at fair market value, making the leap up the property ladder a less daunting transition.
Antonio adds: “We used the Part Exchange scheme which really helped, the move was quick, flawless and we had no stress whatsoever. It was the best thing we ever did.
“The sales staff were very professional and the house was spotless when we moved in. The aftercare has also been fantastic with weekly calls from the sales team and face to face with the on site manager who again gave us amazing customer service.”
Lyveden Fields in Oakley Vale is a popular development where there is a wide selection of shops and schools all within easy reach.
Stephen continues: “The local amenities are great, we have supermarkets, shops and a dentist right on our doorstep. The new community at the development is great and we regularly stop for chats with other dog walkers in the area. The neighbours also seem to be very nice. Our eldest son is now best friends with our neighbours and they regularly play out with others on the development.”
Homes at Lyveden fields have been built with a sustainable future in mind including energy efficient fittings and insulated exteriors to keep the warmth in.
Antonio concludes: “Our home seems to be very energy efficient and literally only takes minutes to heat up on cold nights. We also have dual control central heating so this will save us money throughout the colder winter months.”
There are plenty of schemes house hunters can use to help them when reserving a property at a Barratt Homes development, including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Movemaker, all designed to make the moving process that much simpler for buyers.
