Face-to-face: Video interview with Jackie Dowell of David Wilson Homes 

WhatHouse? recently visited Newbury to have a look round David Wilson Homes’ The Chase at Newbury Racecourse. The sales manager for the David Wilson Homes development is Jackie Dowell, who kindly took time out of her busy day to speak with us about the new homes for sale, and what the development has to offer.

The development consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and two- to five-bedroom houses. Help to Buy and Part Exchange is available on selected plots. There is an on-site gym and nursery, and there are good schools in the area, making the development ideal for families. Current residents include first-time buyers, downsizers, and families. Newbury has great rail and road links for commuters, and many residents work in Reading. The development is near to a good selection of restaurants, shops, and leisure facilities.

We also went on a live tour of the spacious three-bedroom show home, a townhouse which has a stunning view of the racecourse. Newbury Racecourse hosts around 30 events each year, including the Hennessy Gold Cup.
